It is customary to invite a celebrity to throw out an honorary first pitch in baseball. Unfortunately, the most memorable ones are known for their comedy value. Searching YouTube one can find inept efforts from comedian Adam Carolla, sprinter Carl Lewis and President Barack Obama, who from most reports, ‘throws like a girl.’
But leave it to a hockey guy to come up with one of the most unique first pitches. Enter the super cool coach of the Lightning Guy Boucher and his hockey stick who took to the mound before a Tampa Bay Rays – Toronto Blue Jays game.
