BROSSARD, QC. — Players from the Montreal Canadiens have caught the Olympic spirit and this summer will be competing in four events that include basketball, hammer toss, cycling and target shooting. Josh Gorges and P.K. Subban will represent Canada, Yannick Weber and Rafael Diaz comprise the Swiss team and Brian Gionta will carry the colours for the United States.
The first event in the Brossard 2012 Games is the Hammer Throw.

Events
EACH COMPETITOR WILL SHOOT A TOTAL OF 10 PROJECTILES.
COMPETITORS WILL ATTEMPT TO HIT THE TARGET FROM A DISTANCE OF 20 FEET.
POINT VALUES RANGING BETWEEN 5 AND 100 ARE MARKED ON THE TARGET BASED ON PROXIMITY TO THE BULLS-EYE.
THE COMPETITOR REGISTERING THE MOST POINTS AFTER SHOOTING ALL 10 PROJECTILES WILL BE NAMED WINNER OF THE EVENT.
THE COMPETITOR TO COMPLETE 10 LAPS OF THE COURSE IN THE SHORTEST AMOUNT OF TIME WILL BE NAMED WINNER OF THE EVENT.
EACH COMPETITOR WILL BE ALLOTTED FIVE PRACTICE LAPS BEFORE THE EVENT OFFICIALLY BEGINS.
EACH COMPETITOR WILL RECEIVE TWO THROWS.
COMPETITORS MAY PREPARE FOR THEIR ATTEMPTS IN WHICHEVER WAY THEY DEEM NECESSARY SO LONG AS THEY DO NOT STEP OVER THE FOUL LINE.
THE COMPETITOR TO LOG THE FARTHEST THROW WITH ONE OF THEIR ATTEMPTS WILL BE NAMED WINNER OF THE EVENT.
EACH COMPETITOR WILL SHOOT 15 BALLS DIVIDED BETWEEN THREE STATIONS CIRCLING THE BASKET’S PERIMETER.
EACH STATION CONTAINS FOUR BALLS VALUED AT ONE POINT APIECE, AND ONE BALL VALUED AT THREE POINTS.
THE COMPETITOR WHO REGISTERS THE MOST POINTS AFTER SHOOTING ALL 15 OF THEIR BALLS WILL BE NAMED WINNER OF THE EVENT.
IN THE OCCURRENCE OF A TIE, COMPETITORS WILL CONTINUE ATTEMPTING BASKETS UNTIL ONE OF THEM MISSES.
