BROSSARD, QC. — It’s time for the second event in the Brossard 2012 Games. Last week, participants competed in the Hammer Throw with Rafael Diaz taking the top spot on the podium. Josh Gorges picked up the silver and Yannick Weber was awarded the bronze.

That puts the Swiss in first place in the medal standings with a gold and a bronze, Canada in second with a silver and team USA shut out so far.

Today, the athletes will be tossing mini-basketballs. 15 balls are divided among three shooting stations — four balls at each station are worth one point with a white one, termed the “money ball” by the competitors, is worth 3 points.

The order will be Brian Gionta, Josh Gorges, Rafael Diaz, Yannick Weber and P.K. Subban.
