Mostly because Congress has a louder voice and Bettman just continues to laugh in the face of our MPs. It's very important for citizens of Massachusetts and Connecticut. I've been trying to write something for this page but my thoughts are out of sorts. I'm frazzled, strained, basically my soul is crushed to see the lack of support these players not only have for each other (for the most part) but the League in general just doesn't care. Well memo to Gary Bettman: If all your players are injured, no one will be playing the game you leech money off of. The League has failed it's players. His speech about it all being "accidents" reminds me of the murders in Hot Fuzz being called "accidents", except it's covered in skid marks. I'm also just disgusted with Chara and his petulant "wasn't me" act, gets a standing ovation for nearly killing a rising star of the USA hockey program, then takes a boarding penalty on his ex-teammate Montador who just happened to speak out about his actions to the Buffalo media... But so long as the Bruins owner basically runs the Board of Governors NOTHING WILL GET DONE. It's a joke. The League is knee deep in corruption and collusion. Drew Doughty apparently just got rocked into the stanchion too. Another young star with a few concussions this year seriously entering the danger zone while the NHL sleeps.
