Brian Gionta opéré avec succès

MONTRÉAL – Le directeur général du Club de hockey Canadien, Pierre Gauthier, a annoncé mercredi un bilan médical concernant l’attaquant Brian Gionta.

Gionta a subi avec succès une intervention chirurgicale visant à réparer une déchirure au biceps droit. Il sera absent pour une période indéterminée. L’intervention chirurgicale a été pratiquée plus tôt aujourd’hui à Montréal.

Le capitaine des Canadiens a subi cette blessure hier soir lors de la troisième période du match contre les Blues de St-Louis.
