First round picks and reviews to come
Like most Habs and/or hockey fans, I will be anxiously watching tonight’s first round selections on TSN with anticipation of the Canadiens making their selections at #12 and #22 or making a move (up or down the draft chart or player movement). Bob Gainey has for the most part, been a conservative GM who has always built his teams through the draft and his minor league system. I don’t believe he will alter that philosophy with this years’ draft unless another team makes him an offer he can not refuse.
I will be reviewing tonight’s draft selections and trades as all of you will be doing as well. We are Habs fans or should I say armchair GMs!!!,….. so let the second guessing begin tonight at 8:00pm. Enjoy the draft everybody!!!!
