Official Release: Hamilton Bulldogs sign Tyler Murovich to P.T.O

HAMILTON, ONT – Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the Club has signed forward Tyler Murovich to a Professional Try-Out Contract. As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Murovich, 23, has played 38 games this season for the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL and ranks fourth on the team in points recording 23 (9 goals, 14 assists) and 49 penalty minutes. In 143 regular season games in the ECHL with the Reading Royals, Wheeling Nailers and Gwinnett Gladiators from 2011-2013, Murovich has registered 90 points (34 goals, 56 assists) a +8 rating and 177 penalty minutes. The native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania played 32 regular season games in the American Hockey League with the Syracuse Crunch, Springfield Falcons and Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins in 2010 and 2011 posting 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) and 25 penalty minutes. The 5’9”, 185-pound forward spent three seasons with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League from 2007-2010 notching 153 points (70 goals, 83 assists) a +51 rating and 206 penalty minutes in 189 regular season games.
