MONTREAL — The Montreal Canadiens announced Wednesday that goaltender Nathan Lawson, forward Brian Willsie and defenseman Frédéric St-Denis have been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

There are still 36 players at camp, including eleven players sidelined due to injuries: Andrei Markov, Travis Moen, Hunter Bishop, David Desharnais, Brendon Nash, Lars Eller, Olivier Fortier, Louis Leblanc, Joonas Nattinen, Ryan White and Ian Schultz.

The Hamilton Bulldogs’ training camp got underway yesterday at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.

The Canadiens will play their seventh of eight preseason games Thursday, hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Bell Centre.
