MONTREAL — The Montreal Canadiens announced Thursday that defenceman Alex Henry has been assigned to the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.
There are still 35 players at camp, including ten players sidelined due to injuries: Andrei Markov, Travis Moen, Hunter Bishop, Brendon Nash, Lars Eller, Olivier Fortier, Louis Leblanc, Joonas Nattinen, Ryan White and Ian Schultz.
The Canadiens are playing tonight their seventh of eight preseason games, hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning, at the Bell Centre.
