EP

After ignoring hockey for the majority of her life, EP finally became a fan of the sport when she watched the Montreal Canadiens on a blustery April night. It was pretty much love at first sight. Since then she has became completely obsessed with hockey - an obsession that culminated in her following 8 teams in 5 different leagues one season. She can be found on Twitter randomly babbling about her teams (now numbering roughly 3 1/2).

After one heck of a roller coaster ride that ended – well, without going into a long metaphor about broken roller coasters, let’s just say it didn’t end the way Bulldogs fans wouldn’t have wanted it to – it’s hard to put all these thoughts down into one coherent post. So I’ve decided to make a list of things that have come to my mind about the game and the series.

by EP31, AllHabs.net You already know that the Bulldogs are North Division champions after beating the Manitoba Moose (really, one day these title/headline things will stop giving away the rest of these posts). But I’m going to pretend that you want to know every detail of how they won this series anyway. So. We last [...]

Hamilton Bulldogs vs Manitoba Moose. It was the match-up yours truly was hoping to get. Aside from the fact that on paper, the Bulldogs have fared very well against the Moose this season, I was also looking forward to seeing a re-match of last year’s North Division semi-finals.

by EP31, AllHabs.net There were rumours going around in Hamilton that the Oklahoma City Barons (Edmonton Oilers affiliate) had thrown their last game of the season to avoid playing the number two in the Western conference Houston Aeros and instead set up a match-up with the number three Hamilton Bulldogs. If the Barons had indeed [...]

Bulldogs Finish with Flourish, will meet Barons

by EP31, AllHabs.net MONTREAL, QC. — The Bulldogs finished up their regular season with a four-game road-trip out West to play the Abbotsford Heat and the Manitoba Moose. They were looking for one point to clinch a Calder Cup playoff spot and not only did they accomplish that, but they also finished the road-trip as [...]

by EP31, AllHabs.net MONTREAL, QC. — What a difference nine days can make. Nine days ago the Bulldogs were sitting in fifth place and out of a playoff spot. I’m not going to lie, I was more than a little worried about their ability to get into the playoffs at that point. Not just because [...]

Bulldogs Pick Up Points, Winger in Playoff Quest

by EP31, AllHabs.net MONTREAL, Q.C. — Last week the Bulldogs finished up their six game road-trip with three games in three nights in Rockford, Chicago and Peoria. While these games were technically not divisional games, due to the crossover rule, they were virtually like divisional games meaning winning these games – or at least picking [...]

Hamilton Bulldogs: Chasing a Playoff Spot

This past week saw the Hamilton Bulldogs begin a six-game long road trip with three games against division rivals. The Bulldogs have been struggling to find wins on a regular basis. This is not exactly surprising given the fact that they have been without David Desharnais, Ryan White, Ryan Russell, and more recently Frederic St. Denis, Gabriel Dumont, Aaron Palushaj and Nigel Dawes.
