- Alyssa has been a Habs fan since the tender age of 2 years old, all thanks to her dad who forced her to watch hockey games with him. She basically had no choice! She’s a Journalism student at Concordia University and will be graduating next Fall. She was approached by All Habs owner Rick, who took notice of her personal blog. The rest is history!

- Anyone that knows Alyssa will tell you she is a shopaholic. She has a passion for fashion, whether it is shoes, handbags, clothes, you name it. Her dream has always been to move to New York City and pursue a Journalism career there; living in a tiny apartment and enjoying the chaos the Big Apple has to offer. Alyssa is not only a writer, but is very comfortable in front of the camera and would like to pursue a career in TV Journalism. When she’s not dreaming big, she’s bombarded with her boyfriend’s sports knowledge, which she so gladly retains. However, hockey is the only sport she truly does care about.

- She is a Gleek—yes, she has a guilty obsession with the successful television show Glee. Actually, she has an obsession with television, period. She LOVES music and dancing—it’s an escape. She will never turn down a glass of wine, she is Italian anyhow. When she’s not reading, or singing, or dancing, she’s cooking or baking. Oh, and she is ADDICTED to coffee. She’ll be very edgy without her cup of Java.

- Back in high school, Alyssa attended a Killers concert with her friends. Before the show started, a familiar face was walking towards their row to get to their seats. Only when he came face to face with her did she realize it was David Desrosiers from Simple Plan (one of her many old school band obsessions). Without thinking she said “Omg, Hi David,” shook his hand and leaned in for a traditional, Italian “kiss, kiss” on each cheek—as if she’s known him for years! He smiled and gladly accepted her greeting. AWKWARD!
